Program Duration: 6-7 WEEKS INTENSE TRAINING

The nurse aide program trains students to fully meet the needs of patients across the life span. Students are trained to understand and perform proficiently the role of nurse aide, to be competent in providing physical care and applicable psychosocial care.
Our program is approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing. The program includes hands-on learning in laboratory, and clinical experiences to prepare the student for an entry-level job in various care providing settings. Upon completion, graduates receive a Nurse Aide Certificate of completion, making them eligible to sit for the National Nurse Aide Assessment (NNAAP) Program Certification Examination to become a Certified Nurse Aide. As a CNA graduates can work in hospitals, long-term care facilities, client homes, assisted living facilities or physician offices. Seating is limited to 15 students per class.

Requirements
- Student must be at least 18 years of age or older;
- Student must be able to read, write and understand instruction in English.
- Valid Identification card (driver’s license, state ID, Passport)
- Criminal background check($50.00);
- Valid CPR certification (Healthcare provider by American Heart Association)
- TB Test (PPD test/Quantiferon gold test/chest X-ray)
